The global recycling standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary and comprehensive product standard that specifies the third-party certification requirements for recycling content, production and marketing chain of custody, social responsibility and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions.
The objective of GRS is to increase the use of recycled materials in products and reduce / eliminate the hazards caused by their production.
In order to obtain GRS certification, all companies involved in the whole supply chain, including semi-finished product suppliers, must meet the standards required by GRS certification.
